the contents of this book are 40 years of working in the livestock industry.  ive been involved in just about every phase  of the cattle industry. cow calf, pasture steers, feedlots and even spent 16 months in a large packing house.  the stories told here are short snippets of  the day to day work, and the people we worked for. ive tried to maintain the vocabulary and the flavour of the day. all the time i worked in the industry i rodeoed. jackpot ropins and such. one section of the book deals with that part of my life.  i hope  the reader finds  some amount of entertainment. i sure enjoyed written them down.
